Hello, valued listeners, and welcome to season two! It has been exactly three months since the podcast first aired. I’m happy to report I’m still at it and only getting stronger!

Apple Podcasts is the top place people listen to podcasts there are currently 2.5 million shows on the platform – however, only 20% – 450,00 are active. This means someone started a podcast but doesn’t keep going.

80% of people who actively listen to podcasts listen to an average of 7 Hours of podcasts every single week.

65% are high-income earners and have a household income of $250,000 income or more

69% say that an Ad recommendation from their favorite host has lead them to purchase something.

The top brands for podcasting microphones for 2020 were Rode, Blue, and Shure. The Blue Yeti was number 1 overall, with 17% of podcasters reporting using the microphone.

74% use headphones when recording and in post-production.

Expand on what you, the audience, relate to most:

The most Popular Episode in season one was: How To Move On When You’re In A Life Funk. So I’m going to explore this topic more and how it relates to mental health for entrepreneurs.

Followed by: So You Want To Date A Freelancer. Which was really my rally call anthem for all of us to love and defend who we are!

And then How To Determine What Success Means To You: which was my 1st episode and I firmly believe this is the very first step on your journey.

Interviews! – I have an interested list and a dream list, and if you are interested in being on the show please contact me here.

Starting to promote on Instagram – please follow. I have been creating content all month long and am about to unleash it. Follow here @giggingforgold

Affiliate marketing and partnerships – already started but this is an interesting subject I think deserves more attention

I’m considering testing the dark art of video – but don’t know what that would look like yet.

I am experimenting on product reviews of items I use. A lot of focus in season one was and rightly so, focused on the inside, but sometimes it has to be on the outside as well. You only get 1 shot at a first impression.

Actively seeking brand sponsorships: fully knowing you are getting in on the ground but here is what the partnership will loosely look like:

I used to be, and still am in the position of Media Buying and you know as a brand the power of not just an influencer, but a voice of connection. If you know of anyone a few categories jump out at me:  any type of software or apps that make entrepreneurship easier, supplements that help with focus, energy, and stamina, clothing brands that elevate our styles while in meetings or on video, conferences and events coming up, office gadgets/set up/and tech.   OR you tell me. I’m open to collaborations as long as they fit what I believe in and deliver for my audience. I’m like a mamma hen and will protect at all costs.

Thank you a soul from the bottom of my heart for sticking with me.

I started my own entrepreneurial career in 2012 scaling up from $0 a year to over $100,000 each and every year. I firmly and wholeheartedly believe there are ways for all of us self-employed entrepreneurs to reach six-figures and beyond and I'm unapologetically here to show you how I do it so you can make your next best move. Let's go.
